What makes you different from other PT clinics?

I founded Arlo Physical Therapy with a clear vision: to provide informed, collaborative, and person-first care for active adults navigating orthopedic pain and pelvic health conditions. Here's what makes the Arlo experience different from standard physical therapy:

1) A HOLISTIC, WHOLE BODY APPROACH

I look beyond the immediate symptoms to uncover the root cause of your discomfort. By considering your interconnected physical health, mental well-being, and lifestyle factors, we develop a comprehensive treatment plan. This allows us to move past temporary fixes and create lasting results using a combination of therapeutic exercise and hands-on wellness treatments, such as massage, cupping, and dry needling.

2) HOME PROGRAMS DONE DIFFERENTLY

Forget the generic, poorly-printed exercise handouts from 2005. At Arlo, you will receive a customized digital program tailored to your specific goals, complete with personalized videos and resources. We collaborate with you to design a program that fits your life.

  • Want an extensive program that challenges you? We can build that.

  • Only have 15 minutes between work, school, or life's demands? We'll create a targeted, high-impact routine that works for you.

3) TIME TO TELL YOUR STORY

Nothing is more frustrating than having only 30 minutes to explain your story to a burnt-out physical therapist juggling dozens of other patients. Believe me, I’ve been there. At Arlo, you will always have a full 60-minute session with a Doctor of Physical Therapy whose complete attention is on YOU. No rushing, no dividing attention, just the time and space you need to be heard.

Do you accept insurance?

Arlo Physical Therapy & Wellness is an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies. This is a deliberate choice that allows me to provide the highest standard of care without the limitations dictated by insurance plans.

Why Out-of-Network? Insurance companies often resist paying for preventative, wellness-focused, or holistic care, especially once a patient is pain-free. By operating outside of this restrictive system, we can:

  • Focus entirely on you. Your treatment plan is determined by your unique needs and goals, not by what an insurance company deems necessary.

  • Provide comprehensive care. We have the freedom to utilize a full hour for one-on-one treatment, combining hands-on therapy with proactive wellness strategies.

  • Prioritize lasting results. Our goal is to move beyond temporary fixes and empower you with the tools to stay healthy long-term.

How to Use Your Benefits: Even though I am out-of-network, most commercial insurance plans have an out-of-network policy. This allows many clients to receive significant reimbursement for PT.

  1. Pay for your session: Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit cards as well as HSA/FSA funds.

  2. Receive a "Superbill": Upon request, I will provide you with a superbill, an itemized receipt with all the medical codes your insurance company needs to process your claim.

  3. Submit for Reimbursement: You submit the superbill to your insurance provider, and they will send you a reimbursement check directly, according to your plan's "out-of-network" benefits.

I encourage you to call your insurance company and ask about your specific out-of-network coverage for physical therapy.
