Meet Ariana

My name is Dr. Ariana Lopez, PT, DPT. My journey to physical therapy started in high school in Mankato, MN where I was studying classical ballet and found myself in a constant cycle of injury. Working with a PT was life-changing - I discovered the root cause of my problems and the incredible benefits of therapeutic exercise and manual therapy for rehabilitation and injury prevention. This experience motivated me to pursue a degree in dance and public health in college and eventually my Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

As the daughter of a nurse and college professor, growing up I learned that health is wealth and education is power. I know firsthand how women and those within BIPCOC and LGBTQ+ communities are largely underserved and misunderstood in the American healthcare system. My own struggles with pelvic floor dysfunction and chronic health conditions shaped me to be the advocate I am today for equitable and accessible healthcare. Arlo Physical Therapy & Wellness was founded with the hope to remove barriers caused by third-party insurance companies and allow me to treat people the way the way they deserve to be treated.

Fast forward to now, I have helped hundreds of individuals in Minnesota improve their quality of life through the transformative powers of orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapy. I have completed 300+ hours of continuing education on pelvic floor rehabilitation and have been invited to speak at the University of Minnesota, local not-for-profit organizations, corporate retreats, and gyms across the Twin Cities.

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spoiling my two miniature schnauzers, strength training, pole dancing, and dreaming of my next trip to Puerto Rico.

Arlo Physical Therapy & Wellness is proudly a woman and Latinx-owned business.
