Pelvic health physical therapy and dry needling in Minneapolis

What is integrative physical therapy?

Integrative physical therapy builds on the foundations of traditional physical therapy and evidence-based care, while offering additional support for complex, chronic, and whole-person needs.

This approach is especially helpful for people with chronic pain, pelvic floor concerns, pregnancy and postpartum changes, hypermobility/EDS, or anyone who has felt dismissed, rushed, or misunderstood in healthcare settings.

Meet your therapist:

Ariana Lopez

Hi, I’m Ariana, founder of Arlo Physical Therapy & Wellness. Arlo was created to serve people seeking thoughtful, integrative, and trauma-informed care beyond the limits of traditional physical therapy.

As a BIPOC woman living with chronic illness, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to find care that feels both effective and supportive. My approach blends skilled hands-on treatment with whole-person care to address root causes, not just symptoms.

My Services

  • 60-75-minute sessions with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, in-person or virtual. I work with people of all genders using a whole body approach to find the source of your dysfunction whether it's pelvic pain, an orthopedic injury, birth preparation, postpartum recovery, or any other therapy concerns.

  • Dry needling is a targeted technique used to release muscle tension, reduce pain, and improve mobility. Thin, sterile needles are inserted into trigger points or tight bands of muscle. As a result you will experience decreased pain and improved muscle function.

  • Myofascial cupping is a technique that uses suction cups to lift and separate the fascia, the connective tissue surrounding muscles. This helps relieve muscle tension, reduce pain, and improve range of motion.

  • Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on alternative therapy that aims to enhance the body's natural healing abilities by working with the craniosacral system to release tension and reduce pain.

  • Coming soon: February 2026

“After being treated like a 90-year-old and not the mid 30-year-old strong woman I am, I took matters into my own hands and worked with a different physical therapist who took what I was already doing and applied what will actually work to treat my low back pain. No cookie cutter exercise selection from this physical therapist, Ariana treated everything and more.”
